Mahalo from the Hawaii Museum of Contemporary Art
To All Our Dedicated Volunteers, Generous Members and Patrons, Mahalo!
We would not be here to provide needed services and support for the many artists, performers, instructors and students of the Big Island - without your help! The EHCC/Hawaii Museum of Contemporary Art is a 501c3 non-profit organization, and we rely almost exclusively on volunteers to provide us with:
- Office Staff
- Public Relations
- Building Maintenance and Repair
- Special Event Staffing
- Landscaping
- Gallery Docents
- Member Services
- Fund Raising
- and so much more!
A big MAHALO to those who had a vision of bringing a place for artists, performers, filmmakers and cultural groups to exhibit , celebrate and practice their art to Hilo and East Hawaii, the visionaries who formed the East Hawaii Cultural Council.
Mahalo to those dedicated volunteers and generous members who over the years have made it possible for the Hawaii Museum of Contemporary Art to develop into the beautiful and successful embodiment of that original vision that it is today -despite the challenges of maintaining such a quality institution in an era of limited budgets.
And mahalo to those of you who are willing to take up the torch and help us bring the art communities of the Big Island together with the global art community in the future. We are so grateful for your kokua.
MAKE A DONATION - If you're already a member, or you don't wish to be a member at this time, but you would like to help bring art and culture to the communities and people of the Big Island of Hawaii, please consider giving a generous donation to the East Hawaii Cultural Council and the Hawaii Museum of Contemporary Art.
